Here is a little history of The Hanging Gardens of Babylon.

The Garden was placed on a hillside, it was a large and magnificent structure (much like the picture above). Many parts of the garden were raised high up on large columns. There were many large, and full green trees surrounded by lovely flowers and birds.

The Gardens were located in present day Iraq. Although there are many different views or ideas about the Gardens, there is no real evidence that they actually existed! This is one of the many reasons that the Hanging Gardens of Babylon is a Wonder of the World.
