Letter from the Editor:

Stress is floating around in the air all around us. Especially during this time of the year, when we’re all in the midst of our difficult classes, Driver’s Ed. Courses, and sports seasons, students tend to feel an ample amount of stress pressing down on our shoulders.

Through our performances at school, on the field, and in the classroom, our friends, family members, and teachers constantly are criticizing us. You receive one bad grade and your parents are automatically on your case, badgering you to study. One bad game and you feel like you’ll never4 score a touchdown, spike the ball, or even run your best time again. It can be very difficult to keep your head up and your attitude positive when so many things are going wrong. There’s got to be a way to cope with all this stress…but how?

When something goes wrong you automatically downgrade yourself to a negative attitude. As a result, you start thinking negatively. All in all, the one negative thing creates an unpleasant domino effect, as thinking negatively ultimately summons more negative things.

The best way to avoid the cycle is to let the one bad thing happen, and forget about it. Harping on the bad will only bring more bad things into your life. Let the one bad even happen, and then burry it, concentrating on all the positive things that could happen.

With so many school assignments, outside commitments, and dedications to after-school activities, stress is bound to enter your life. The important things you should know is that this happens to the best of us. What matters is that you do not let stress take over your life. Let it encounter you, make its point, and then shoo it out of your way. Allowing it to conquer your life and control everything you do will only harm your health and cause more negative occurrences.
